Before you call

Straight answers about fees, files and Saturdays

How do you charge?

Flat fees for most work, quoted in writing before you hire us. Buying, selling and an exchange each have their own flat fee, and land or acreage is quoted apart from a house. Boundary and title disputes are quoted case by case. Title insurance, recording fees and transfer taxes are charged by others.

Do I need a lawyer at all?

Plenty of people close without one. If the contract is standard and the title is clean, you may be fine. We're most useful when something is unusual: land, a family transfer, a rental, a property with a past.

Who works on my file?

One lawyer, plus Daichi for the closing and Nanami for title records. When you call, one of those three picks up.

Can we sign on a Saturday?

Yes, Saturday mornings by appointment at our office, nine to noon.

How do I know a wire request is real?

We will never email you wire instructions. Call us at (360) 555-0148 before you send any money, even if the message looks like ours.

Do you handle evictions or leases?

No. When a landlord or tenant calls about one, we say so and point them to a lawyer who does.

Can I send documents through this website?

Please don't send confidential details through the form. Give us the address and what you need, and we'll set up a safe way to send the contract.

Still wondering if you need us?

Call and ask. If you don't, we'll say so.
